縁起の良い赤色仕上げは、

獅子頭の口はぱくぱくと開き、
悪いものを食べてくれる用心棒として、
身につける人を守る意味が込められています。
素材には、材木の中でも特に軽量な桐材を使用。
大きな加賀獅子頭を制作する際に生まれる端材を活かして製作しており、
見た目に反してとても軽く、耳元への負担が少ないのも魅力です。
